Description
The present planning comprises the planning of the bridge ramps, including the section of the Transversale, hereinafter referred to as Transversale North, which extends to the end of construction of the Transversale South and is located north of the junction Transversale South\/ Planstrasse J. The planning runs in parallel and in close coordination with the planning of the bridge structure. The planning of the bridge structure is described in a separate document. The 4-lane road expansion described below begins at construction km 0+043.94 and ends at construction km 0+800. In total, the planning includes the following road construction lengths: - approx. 240 m transversal north, - approx. 165 m ramp south, - approx. 235 m ramp north. The northern performance limit is the end of the north ramp. Footpaths and cycle paths will run along both sides of the transversal to ensure a continuous network of footpaths and cycle paths from Treptow to Waltersdorf and BER Airport.
