The Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences is planning to establish a research center for post-fossil mobility and energy sources in rural areas on the Innovation Campus in Lemgo. As a new research infrastructure, the UrbanLand Mobility Center (MZL) offers scientists, decision-makers and society the opportunity to conduct research into multimodal, networked and sustainable mobility in a way that is open to all technologies. On a gross floor area of around 2,100 m², a unique research facility will be created in close cooperation between the TH OWL and the iFE - Institute for Energy Research as well as other university institutions on the subject of the efficient, climate and resource-friendly mobility of tomorrow. Federal funding from the "Climate-neutral drive technologies and renewable fuels" funding area has been applied for to realize the project.
