The objective is to procure a uniform, standardized and marketable cross-connection control system, hereinafter also referred to as the control system. The control system to be procured is to be equipped with state-of-the-art cross-connection control system and switching technology and in compliance with the applicable statutory and industry-relevant regulations and guidelines. The individual systems and components are to be designed to be future-proof with regard to new technologies. Interfaces and protocols to external or adjacent systems should be standardized and documented for the client. This tender includes planning, delivery, installation and commissioning (including training and support) as well as IT operational support, maintenance, service and support of the control system and switching equipment, including the necessary networking. The subject of the tender consists of all deliveries and services for the provision of a functional, turnkey, reliable and high-performance overall system. This includes the following components in particular: - Preparation and coordination of the necessary concepts and specifications for the commissioning and operation of the overall system as well as maintenance, care, service and support - Planning and realization of the system-specific cabling, installation of the individual and overall system, commissioning and guaranteeing the functional\/performance interaction of the overall system including the peripherals to be connected and integrated in accordance with the specifications in this tender document - Provision of all necessary hardware, network and software components to ensure that the overall system is functional, reliable and high-performance, Installation, commissioning, testing and handover of a functional and high-performance control system (productive system, test\/reference system) in accordance with the specifications of this service description - Implementation and testing of the interfaces in accordance with this service description - QVL licenses for the simultaneous use of the overall QVL system on max. 15 communication-capable control system workstations - Provision of all necessary hardware, network and software components to ensure functional, reliable and high-performance operation of the overall system - Installation, commissioning, testing and handover of a functional and high-performance control system (productive system, test\/reference system) in accordance with the specifications of this service description 15 communication-capable control system workstations - Support in the implementation of IT operations and the administration of the QVL control system including all associated subsystems and software (hardware, software, network, peripherals) - Provision of all tools and systems for monitoring and ensuring IT operations, if not provided by the client - 2nd\/3rd level support and service (fault\/fault acceptance and analysis, repair, maintenance) - Maintenance and functional development of the overall QVL system (HW and SW components) The requirements of the service description form the basis for the QVL to be procured. If these requirements are not covered by the standard system offered, the client will check on a case-by-case basis whether a project-specific adaptation is appropriate or necessary. For this reason, the project-specific extensions and developments must be listed individually with their price implications.
