Description
The Marktoberdorf fire station is to be extended and renovated in nine construction phases to ensure that the fire station meets current standards:
BA 1: Addition of an additional parking space with storage area and changing rooms, as the existing parking spaces are not suitable for the new emergency vehicle required.
BA 2: Redesign of the northern basement exit as a drive-through with dismantling and redesign of the roofing with noise protection wall to the neighbor and new construction of a freight elevator.
BA 3: Replacement of all windows and the ETICS to bring the building up to modern energy standards.
BA 4: Conversion of the operations center with renewal of the technology.
BA 5-6: Extension of the basement with new breathing apparatus training area and new equipment for the breathing apparatus workshop and washroom.
BA 7: Ground floor extension - minor conversion work and replacement of all vehicle hall doors to adapt the building to current requirements.
BA 8: Construction of a roof terrace next to the large training room on the upper floor, with a new escape staircase.
BA 9: Renewal of the broken asphalt surface in front of the building and redesign of the basement access ramp on the north side.
Funding is planned for the creation of an additional parking space and a respiratory protection route, and individual measures are also to be subsidized via KfW\/BAFA funding. The funding provider's specifications must be observed accordingly.
The aim is to start planning immediately after completion of the award procedure (early 01\/2025).
Construction is scheduled for completion by the 4th quarter of 2028.
The planning and construction measures will take place during the ongoing operation of the fire department and the building.
