Description

The Ludwigshöhe education campus is part of the Ludwigshöhe district development in Darmstadt-Bessungen on the former site of the Cambrai-Fritsch barracks. In future, the educational campus will consist of 4 buildings:1. family center in the south2. Former barracks building 40013. Ludwigshöhe daycare center4. Ludwigshöhe primary schoolThe preparatory measures for rainwater infiltration and infrastructure on the education campus serve to implement the extensive earthworks for construction roads and rainwater infiltration as an early measure. The implementation of the structural engineering measures will begin in spring 25 with several construction phases. The rainwater infiltration systems are to be connected and used during the building construction work. Infiltration & infrastructure planning: The early rainwater infiltration and infrastructure measures include the construction of 5 infiltration trenches, a frost protection layer path between Granitstrasse and Ludwigshöhe, rainwater channels between buildings/ sedimentation/ infiltration trenches/ vortex choke and empty conduits for the lighting system. An empty conduit will be provided in the north-south connection for later data/fiber optic equipment. House connections from public utilities for electricity, heat and sewage are not included in the measure. During the construction phase, the above-mentioned gravelled north-south connection and the west access road will serve as a construction road between Ludwigshöhstraße and Granitstraße. The location and height of the construction road takes into account the final construction of the paved surfaces, which are not part of the construction work.1. infiltration trench 1/2: rainwater infiltration of the catchment area of the former barracks building 4001 and path areas north-south connection partly and Ludwigshöhe daycare center. Create excavation pit, sedimentation system and infiltration trench (planning product: Sedipoint/Rigofill or similar) without connection to Granitstraße rainwater drain. Required volume from flooding verification in infiltration trench. Total volume of trench 1 is approx. 190m3. 2. trench 3 is not part of the measure. The design of the system is only possible once the footprint of the Ludwigshöhe elementary school is available; the planned rainwater infiltration catchment area is the northern part of the planned elementary school, the path area between the wooded area and the planned elementary school and the path areas of the north-south connection in part. 3. infiltration trench 4 Rainwater infiltration Catchment area family center northern part, path area between planned school, connection to neighborhood square and southern part of planned elementary school (assumption). Create excavation pit, sedimentation system; vortex throttle 2l/s and infiltration trench (planning product: Sedipoint/Rigofil/Quadrolimit, or similar), connection to infiltration trench 5, required volume from total volume of infiltration trench 4 is 93m3. 4. infiltration trench 5: rainwater infiltration in the southern part of the family center catchment area, path areas to the south and west of the family center. Construction of excavation pit, sedimentation system, infiltration trench, vortex throttle 11l/s and lifting system. Required total volume of infiltration trench 5 is 23.2m3. Trench 5 is located below the backwater level and is therefore equipped with a backwater flap and lifting unit. Planning product: Hybrid lifting unit Ecolift XL or similar. The connection to the pre-stretched RK Karl-Plagge-Platz.5. Infiltration trench 6: Rainwater infiltration in the ramp construction pit catchment area, infiltration trench with special substrate for pre-treatment of contaminated rainwater, infiltration trench without connection to the rainwater sewer. Total volume of trench 6 is approx. 5.1m3.6 Construction road north-south connection between Granitstrasse and Ludwigshöhstrasse and western connection to Ludwigshöhstrasse: Remove and dispose of existing surfaces and kerbs. Break up and dispose of concrete obstacles and road drains. Prepare subsoil for frost-free 60 cm thick superstructure, dispose of soil. Construction road and BE surfaces made of natural stone gravel 0/45mm7. Preparation of infrastructure: Install 2x DN 150 empty conduits with cable ducts between Granitstrasse and Ludwigshöhstrasse. Install 1x DN 100 empty conduit for data cable. Considerable ground work is required to install the trenches, shaft structures, sewer trenches and construction road. The soil to be removed is to be stored on rent, sampled by the client and then loaded and disposed of. The analysis results will be made available to the contractor by the BÜ.Location of the construction area:The Ludwigshöhe educational campus is located in Darmstadt-Bessungen. The construction area lies between Granitstraße in the north, Karl-Plagge-Platz in the south and Tonsteinstraße in the east. The former barracks building 4001 borders the construction site to the west. The above-mentioned streets are new and some of them are not included in the usual route planners. The construction site is located at the end of Ludwigshöhstraße on the site of the former Cambrai-Fritsch barracks. The new, already completed road network can be reached from Ludwigshöhstraße and access to the construction site is via the construction site gate in Granitstraße. Access via Cooperstraße to the south, branching off from Heidelbergerstraße, is not possible.
