The Kassenärztliche Vereinigung Baden-Württemberg (KVBW) and the Landesärztekammer Baden-Württemberg für die Bezirksärztekammer Südbaden (BÄKSB) jointly operate an administration building at Sundgauallee 27, 79114 Freiburg. It houses a conference center in which approx. 1,500 events with approx. 15,000 participants per year are held, as well as approx. 250 office workstations. The construction project provides for the demolition of the old and connecting building (approx. 3,280 m²) and the complete technical, energy-related, substantial and structural refurbishment of the remaining extension building (approx. 4,700 m²). The new building complex, supplemented by a partially new building, must provide a total usable area of approx. 10,300 m². The office solution is based on an open multi-space concept.
