The Karlsruhe Chamber of Crafts is planning to build a new training academy as the capacity at the current location has been exhausted. The focus is on a high-quality educational building that is to be designed to be functional, energy-efficient, flexible and multifunctional. It will include workshops, seminar and administration rooms, meeting rooms, a canteen with café, recreation and self-study areas as well as outdoor break rooms.
The range of services will include inter-company apprentice training, further and advanced training and career guidance.
Project management services for the new training academy will be put out to tender by means of a negotiated procedure with a call for tenders. The contract is to be awarded in stages.
The new building is intended to meet the key challenges of the coming years and decades, such as recruiting, securing and retaining skilled workers, digitalization and climate change, and to ensure the future viability of the skilled trades in the region.
The planning services to be awarded are project management services for the construction of the new training academy of the Karlsruhe Chamber of Crafts in accordance with § 2 AHO booklet no. 9 (March 2020) Basic services of project stages 1-5, areas of action A-E.
Services B1 and C2 have already been provided. With the submission of the offer, an assessment of the services already provided or points in the overall evaluation should be made.
The negotiations are expected to take place on 16.12.2024. For further information, see section 5.1.
