Description

The German Historical Museum Foundation intends to conclude a framework agreement for its art transportation services as a result of an open procedure in accordance with Section 15 VgV. In accordance with Section 21 (4) VgV, a framework agreement is to be concluded with a maximum of three bidders who are competent, efficient and reliable and have submitted the most economical bids.
The service will be awarded on the basis of the following award criteria:
Quality: 20 % (sustainability)
Price: 80 %
The German Historical Museum Foundation (DHM) has two exhibition buildings:
1st exhibition hall (WAG\/ Pei-Bau), Hinter dem Gießhaus 3, 10117 Berlin
In the exhibition hall, we present exhibitions on various historical topics on four floors with a total area of 2,700 m², usually for a period of three to six months.
As a rule, we present two large and two to three smaller exhibitions each year. For these exhibitions, exhibits are brought to the DHM in varying numbers and types, mainly from Germany, but also in part from European and international lenders, and returned to the lenders at the end of the exhibition. These loans are extremely sensitive and irreplaceable works of art, which means that the art transportation company must have a great deal of experience, specialist knowledge and technical equipment to handle them. By submitting your offer, you undertake to fulfill these requirements.
2nd Zeughaus, Unter den Linden 2, 10117 Berlin
The Zeughaus comprises an exhibition area of 8,000 m² on 2 floors. The building is currently closed for renovation work.
The maximum value over the optional term of the contract (4 years) is ? 1,000,000. These are estimated quantities based on previous requirements. An exact figure cannot be calculated. Quantities may vary according to demand.
The DHM attaches great importance to the sustainable handling of the exhibition project. The contractor must therefore fulfill the following requirements for the provision of services:
The use of a modern and therefore low-emission vehicle fleet is required, i.e. the vehicles used by the contractor must at least comply with the Euro 5 emissions standard (minimum requirement). This requirement applies to all vehicles used for transportation within the EU.
The sustainable design of the packaging economy; starting points here can be, for example, the reuse of packaging materials, rental crates, the packaging of several jobs in one crate and the use of sustainable raw materials or similar, is also an important part of the service to be awarded.
