Description

The Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (FHH) - Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection - as the client (AG) intends to conclude a contract for the accommodation of lost and found animals, animals in safekeeping, observation animals and assistance with emergency operations. The contract is concluded for the period from 01.01.2025 to 31.12.2028 (4 years). Thereafter, it shall be extended by a further two years in each case unless it is terminated in writing by one of the contracting parties with 18 months' notice to the end of the respective term.

The following services are required:

? Reception, accommodation, care and return or placement of found animals, animals in care, observation animals, pets of fugitives and protected animals, including the transportation and support services required in this context
? Reception, accommodation and care of wild animals, provided they have been taken into care by the responsible FHH departments
? Assistance with emergency operations and the recovery and rescue of injured animals
? Castration of free-roaming cats

The intention is to award several lots to different contractors.

? Lot 1: Found animals

? Lot 2: Animals in safekeeping, subdivided according to capacity and species
o Lot 2.1: Wild animals
o Lot 2.2: Protected animals
o Lot 2.3: Refugee pets
o Lot 2.4: Assistance with emergency operations

? Lot 3: Observation animals

No. 2.2 and 2.3 of the Additional Terms and Conditions of Contract for the Execution of Supplies and Services (ZVB) shall not apply. It is pointed out that the conclusion of this contract does not give rise to any claim by the Contractor against the Client for a minimum quantity.
