Description

The European Climate Law stipulates that the EU must be climate-neutral by 2050. Germany's energy and heat supply must therefore be greenhouse gas-neutral by 2045, and that of the European Union (EU) by 2050. The Federal Subsidy for Efficient Heating Networks (BEW) is one of the most important subsidy systems in the area of heating networks. The aim of this directive is to contribute to achieving greenhouse gas neutrality in energy and heat supply and to incentivize investments that increase the share of renewable energies and waste heat in heating networks in Germany and thus reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Stadtwerke Hennigsdorf GmbH has submitted an application to BAFA for funding for the creation of a transformation plan in accordance with BEW Module 1 as part of the guidelines for federal funding for efficient heating networks (BEW). After receiving the grant notification, a transformation plan for the district heating network is to be drawn up by an external service provider in accordance with the funding guidelines. The approval period is expected to begin in November 2024 and end in December 2025. Stadtwerke Hennigsdorf GmbH therefore intends to draw up a transformation plan involving all stakeholders in order to plan and prepare the measures described in the funding application for the decarbonization of the district heating network. The subject of the tender is the awarding of the freelance services for the preparation of the transformation planning.
