The entire Duisburg main station is being renovated. Following the refurbishment of the station building and the passenger underpass, the transport station will now follow.
The subject of this contract award is the replacement of the track field lighting system (GFB system) at the north\/south head of the Duisburg Hbf station.
As part of the renewal of the Duisburg transportation station (hall roof and platforms), the technical adaptation of the adjacent overhead line systems with the respective tensioning of the contact wires above the tracks at the north and south ends of the Duisburg transportation station is absolutely necessary. The overhead line adaptations involve technical renewals and swiveling of the contact wire guy wires.
In the course of the adjustments, the existing trackside lighting masts at the north and south heads are affected at their respective mast locations and must largely be moved or relocated due to the aforementioned necessary overhead line adjustments and swiveling. The existing trackside lighting system (GFB system) at the north/south head of the Duisburg main station will be replaced. In detail, the following construction work is required: 50Hz_services (construction of the sub-distribution board (UV) GFB North AV cabinet), supply cable connection (low voltage) from the VST Duisburg post tunnel (technical room PT 004) to the AV cabinet UV GFB North); cable trough laying work (underground cable construction), installation of prefabricated foundations (selective work) and installation of the lighting masts.
