The district of Steinfurt is inviting tenders for the supply of natural gas for its properties for a term of 24 months. The tender covers the supply of climate-neutral natural gas as a full supply contract including billing of network use, metering point operation and all associated energy management tasks by the bidder. The district of Steinfurt is requesting a horizontal tranche model as part of this tender. A fixed price model is permitted as a secondary offer. However, secondary bids will only be evaluated if no valuable main bid is received. In total, the tender comprises 26 market locations with a final total of 5,595 MWh per year of natural gas for the delivery years 2026 and 2027.
