The district of Recklinghausen is planning to build and operate a climate-friendly district building yard with sustainable material cycles and energy self-sufficient management. The district building yard currently uses rented space and buildings that no longer meet the personnel and operational requirements. The new central district building yard should also be operationally efficient and reliable. To this end, the facility must be characterized by an energy-optimized and compact design.
