Description

The client is the Free State of Bavaria, represented by the Bavarian State Ministry of Finance and Home Affairs (StMFH), which is represented by the Bavarian State Tax Office (BayLfSt). The BayLfSt is the intermediary authority between the Bavarian State Ministry of Finance and Home Affairs (StMFH) and the Bavarian tax offices.
One bid may be submitted for each variant per interested party. In the case of the service to be procured in the form of a DCaaS (Data Center as a Service) concept, data center services will be provided by the bidder. The scope and design of the DCaaS services are based on the requirements defined and presented by the client in the award procedure as part of the SCATER (Scalable Whitespace Nord) project.
1st variant: Exclusive DCaaS on a property in Neustadt a.d.Aisch:
Provision of IT services by the bidder on a state-owned property (approx. 11,830 m2, commercial and industrial area). The bidder provides the IT services on this property exclusively, i.e. for the sole use of the client. The bidder shall construct the areas required for the provision of services on this property under its own management. The bidder shall completely dismantle the building at the end of the agreed contract term. The property remains the property of the Free State of Bavaria throughout.
2nd variant: Shared DCaaS in a data center location:
The bidder provides the necessary IT services at a location to be determined by it in the greater Nuremberg area.
