The city of Düren is planning the partial replacement of the Anne Frank Comprehensive School on the Kupfermühle 3 site in 52353 Düren (district 4770 Mariaweiler-Hoven, parcel 14, plots 681, 219 and 5\/1).
In the course of clearing the construction site, the two-storey school building Old Building A, including the connecting corridor to Old Building B, and the two single-storey pavilions A and B were demolished in order to erect a new building on the same site. The construction site is bordered to the north by the existing school building. To the east, it borders Kupfermühle Street, a one-way street that runs along the eastern side of the school grounds and leads into Rheinstraße. To the west and north, the north-south facing
north-south direction borders on a stream (Lendersdorfer Mühlenteich), an artificial tributary of the Rur. This is a listed building and must not be impaired in any way. To the south of the construction site is a building belonging to the
Mariaweiler fire department building between the Lendersdorfer Mühlenteich and the grounds of the Anne Frank Comprehensive School, as well as a fountain that must be protected from damage.
Access to the construction site is via the junction of Kupfermühle and Rheinstraße. The predominantly three-storey partial replacement building in reinforced concrete construction with facing brickwork adjoins the existing building to the north as a two-storey structure.

As part of the above-mentioned construction project, the following is to be carried out in detail:

approx. 3,000 m² of rubber flooring incl. ancillary work
approx. 1,500 m of wooden skirting boards
approx. 20 sqm clean-off mats
approx. 80 sqm linoleum in the existing floor including ancillary work
approx. 20 sqm PCV flooring in the existing building incl. ancillary work
