The city of Datteln invites tenders for an external service to create a utilization concept for an inner-city area of around 4,000 m² that is used as a public parking lot. This area has already been the subject of investigations in the past, although the different ideas and interests of the city center stakeholders are very far apart, so that no development of the area has taken place to date. The aim of the award is to carry out a site-related investigation, which should provide information on the possible usage modules and building structures as part of a new development of the site. A corresponding concept will be used to prepare development measures for the upgrading and replanning of the site, which should result in positive synergy effects for the city center in the future. The project should be completed in the form of the concept by the end of 2024 (December).
