Description

The city of Bingen am Rhein is planning to realign the city administration's accommodation. As the current rental agreements for the "Ämterhaus" (Rochusallee 2) and an additional space rented in the neighboring building (Mariahilfstraße 1) expire in mid-2027 or at the end of 2027 and the space and room capacities available there are no longer sufficient, the city of Bingen am Rhein will acquire an administrative building at Mainzer Straße 26 to house the administrative headquarters of the city administration. The building was previously the headquarters of the savings bank in Bingen am Rhein.
The building consists of an old building on the corner of Mainzer Straße\/ Zeppelinstraße and the extension, which was completed in the 1980s. The offices are organized over four floors, plus two basement floors and a technical center on the fourth floor.

Extensive renovation and conversion work on the existing building is required to accommodate the Bingen city administration. The subject of this tender is the architectural services for the planning and implementation of these measures.

In the course of the refurbishment and modernization of the building, office space concepts are to be developed that take into account the changing world of work and current forms of work in the sense of "New Work". To this end, a working environment is to be created that offers different types of working areas: In multispace office areas, the various office types and zones (e.g. cellular offices, open space) and places for focus work, meeting rooms of different sizes and communication zones are to be combined in a continuous design concept.
