The changing conditions in the statutory health insurance environment and the increasing digitalization of the working world require constant change. The organization and processes of BIG direkt gesund are continuously reviewed and adapted to requirements with the aim of reducing service and administrative expenses while increasing customer satisfaction. The introduction of digital processes and self-services in particular focuses on customer orientation. Adjustments to the IT infrastructure are not exempt from this change. In addition to the data processed in the so-called GKV-specific infrastructure (BITMARCK_21c|ng inventory system), which is operated by a BITMARCK data center, all non-GKV-specific systems are operated in a private cloud with a managed service provider. The contract ends on 31.12.2025, so the services will be re-tendered accordingly. BIG direkt gesund is pursuing the goal of increasing the flexibility and scalability of its IT infrastructure and is therefore planning a gradual migration of systems to the public cloud. The aim is to increase efficiency and promote innovation through shorter time-to-market and improved business processes. BIG direkt gesund is therefore looking for a partner (hereinafter: "Contractor\/AN") who will initially take over the operation of the - non-GKV-specific - IT infrastructure (lift and shift) and gradually accompany and support BIG direkt gesund on its "Journey to Cloud" (planning, migration, implementation, 2nd level support).
This service is being tendered under the name "Managed Services IT" for a period of three years with the option of two one-year extensions.
The expected start of the transition is 01.09.2025; the expected start of regular operations is 01.01.2026.
