The aim of this project is to establish a new and suitable SAP EWM S\/4HANA system for the SachsenEnergie AG sites and their logistics processes. In future, the SAP EWM S\/4HANA system will act as the inventory management system. The existing SAP ERP S\/4HANA is the leading system in the company, which provides the necessary master data.

The fundamental objectives of the SAP EWM S\/4HANA implementation are
- Integration and introduction of the SAP EWM S\/4HANA system as a successor to the SAP EWM 9.5 currently in use,
- Mapping improved and standardized warehouse processes on the system side
- Integration of the processes of the currently externally located meter warehouse into the processes of the central warehouse in Kesselsdorf
- Connection using various interfaces with the surrounding existing systems for standardized data exchange in the throughput of the various processes,
- Reduction of the many in-house developments currently used outside the SAP EWM standard and
- Elimination of system discontinuities
