The aim of the tender is to extend the maintenance of the existing Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) infrastructure. The University Hospital Düsseldorf (UKD) operates a modern HPE infrastructure. As part of the UKD's IT strategy, it is necessary to extend the term until November 2027 for reasons of operational security, risk minimization, reduction of training costs and economic efficiency. This document contains the specifications for the tender and is only valid in conjunction with the tender documents. The maintenance and contract extensions are to be supplied from a single source. It is therefore not permissible to divide the invitation to tender into lots. At all points in the invitation to tender where products from specific manufacturers are explicitly requested, these must be offered. The maintenance extension may only be offered via the official HPE channel of the Maintenance via third party service providers is excluded. The maintenance must be accessible in the HPE customer portal under the name of the organization "Universitätsklinikum Düsseldorf".
