Description
The aim of the project is to record the influence of invasive predator species on the occurrence of specially and strictly protected amphibian species in the north-east of Saxony-Anhalt between the towns of Stendal and Rogätz.
The service includes the recording of the entire amphibian inventory as well as the predators present at the spawning waters (especially raccoons) on a total of at least 3 inspection dates. It also includes an assessment of the conservation status of the populations of species listed in Annexes II and IV of the Habitats Directive and documentation of the results.
The subject of this tender procedure is the survey of amphibians in 2025. The service is divided into two spatial lots, for which separate bids can be submitted.
The project area intended for the surveys (hereinafter UG) is located in north-eastern Saxony-Anhalt between the towns of Stendal in the north and Rogätz in the south (see Fig. 1). The UG is largely located in the district of Stendal and to a lesser extent in the district of Börde. It is bordered to the east by the course of the Elbe and extends to the west as far as the Colbitz Letzlinger Heide. Within this UG there is a spatial division into a total of two lots.
