Description

The aim of the Energy Export Initiative of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK) is to support German companies (UN) from the climate-friendly energy sector in entering foreign markets and to promote German products and services internationally.
To prepare the market for the sale of German products and services in the context of climate-friendly energy solutions, information trips (IR) to Germany are offered to foreign decision-makers in selected target countries. During their stay in Germany, the foreign participants from business, politics and administration visit specific reference projects and facilities as well as institutions and companies that offer energy solutions in the fields of renewable energies, energy efficiency, smart grids or storage. The aim of information trips is therefore to establish contacts and impart knowledge in order to create the most favorable conditions possible for the demand for and use of climate-friendly energy solutions in the target countries.
Within the framework of varied and moderated specialist kick-off and networking events as well as company visits and property tours in Germany, the interested decision-makers are provided with specific specialist information about the German market and the respective sector by experts from business, science, administration, associations, institutions and other multipliers.
The information trip is intended to be a supplement with a clear link to the energy business trip program. This program facilitates market access for German UN in various countries, identifies business opportunities and promotes international business partnerships. This is achieved by organizing business trips (GR) to target markets.
The program offers German UN an excellent opportunity to expand their international activities, enter new markets and establish valuable business relationships. It combines in-depth market knowledge, targeted contact mediation and intensive on-site activities to maximize success in international business. The Energy Business Trip (GR) support module consists of a trip profile, a target market analysis (ZMA), an on-site briefing and an event or a combination of several event formats that best suit the target market and industry (specialist conference, business breakfast, executive business roundtable or workshop). The central element of the measure is individual meetings between the German UN and potential business partners in the target country.
