Description

The OPW, Fáilte Ireland and the National Monuments Service have proposed a series of developments for the island of Árainn, (Inis Mór) on the Aran Islands. This island is overflowing with incredible histories, not just the famous prehistoric fort of Dún Aonghasa but 10 other ruins on the island have been chosen to be the focus of more pronounced interpretation. The visitor centre at Dún Aonghasa will be the heart of the development. Here, visitors will spend a short time engaging in new, engaging and interactive exhibition content while they que for their tickets. After purchasing their tickets they will enjoy the rest of the exhibition prior to exploring the site of Dún Aonghasa with an accompanying printed guide or tour guide. The full list of requirements is contained within the tender documents. All responses must be submitted in a ZIP FILE format.
