Description

Munster Technological University is seeking to create a framework from competent providers for the supply of Medical Cover/ Physical Therapy for the MTU Student GAA Club training and matches during the 2024/2025 academic year with the option to extend for the three following academic years. The MTU Student GAA Club has in excess of 500 active members across 12 different teams competing in camogie, ladies Gaelic football, Gaelic football and hurling. The various teams compete in the third level colleges league and championship competitions which commence in October and finish in March. The teams can also play in friendly games as part of their preparations. Activities are scheduled in the Monday to Thursday window in the evenings. The club is looking for a suitably qualified physiotherapist to provide medical aid to students who require treatment on match days by having a presence pre-game for preparation and in game support where injuries occur. There would be approximately 90 events during the season including home and away games where cover would be required. Sub-contracting for away activities would be acceptable. The purpose of this RFT is to set up a Framework Agreement with a panel of minimum one (1) and maximum Five (5) service providers. The successful bidders will be placed on the University’s list of preferred suppliers of photography services.
