Description
The rising number of energy prosumers requires effective management of distributed energy resources (DERs). Bi-directional electric vehicles play a crucial role in this flexibility management by using their batteries for energy storage and charging optimisation.
The Austrian electricity provider (through its own accelerator programme) is therefore seeking solutions to:
- aggregate DERs into virtual power plants (VPPs)
- dynamically balance supply and demand through advanced data analysis in real-time
- efficiently manage communication, control, and billing with both DERs and market participants
