Description

Subject of the service to be awarded Engineering services in the field of HVAC technology for technical branch offices of the General Administration of the Max Planck Society at the Max Planck Institutes at various locations in the Federal Republic of Germany.
Description of the procurement:
The subject of the award procedure comprises the engineering services to be provided as a so-called "technical field office" in the field of HVAC technology as part of the ongoing building maintenance, servicing and repair of the technical building equipment and systems in accordance with the draft contract provided. The contractual services are based on ยงยง 53-56 HOAI.
The Technical Field Office supports the Max Planck Society in the building maintenance of its buildings. Building maintenance is carried out in accordance with the Max Planck Society's guidelines for building maintenance. In individual cases, services for so-called "minor construction measures" can also be assigned. The measures are generally carried out during ongoing operations.
When providing the services, not only the special requirements of the highly installed buildings and the corresponding technical facilities, but also the usual work processes in research and science must be taken into account. In this respect, the Max Planck Society attaches great importance in this award procedure not only to applicants being able to demonstrate profound knowledge in the field of laboratory planning, but also to having experience in carrying out maintenance and repair measures during ongoing operations.

The services to be provided must at least comply with the generally recognized rules of technology and meet all the necessary requirements for cost-effectiveness, energy efficiency and sustainability. By submitting their application to participate, applicants declare that they are in a position to provide the services within the specified period and, in particular, that they have the necessary technical, personnel, material and time resources to do so. The special requirements for the provision of services may make it necessary to be available frequently\/at short notice at the request of the client for coordination meetings on site \/ in Munich
Special note regarding bidder questions due to special external events (e.g. Sars-COV-2 or Ukraine war): When preparing your offer, please take into account any possible or recognizable impairments, e.g. with regard to the availability of materials and products, manpower, a possible delay in the provision of required subcontractors, effects on any subcontractors, etc. Any questions arising in this context should be submitted in good time before the tender deadline via the eProcurement messaging system.
