Description
The Municipality of Saint-Barthélemy requires bids for :
SNOW REMOVAL AND WINTER MAINTENANCE CONTRACT FOR THE ROAD NETWORK IN SECTORS 1, 2 AND 3
Subject of contract: Snow removal, supply and spreading of abrasive and de-icing materials and maintenance of municipal roads, during winter, for sectors 1, 2 and 3, for the 2024/2025, 2025/2026 seasons. Please note that the contract provides for two renewal options, for periods of one year each, at the sole discretion of the municipality.
The Municipality does not undertake to accept the lowest bid, or any of the bids received, and declines all liability to any of the bidders in the event of rejection of all bids. The contract is awarded by decision of the Municipality's Council, at its sole discretion, and the Municipality cannot be bound in any way other than by a resolution of its Council.
Tender opening date: September 27, 2024 at 10 a.m.
Tender location: Municipalité de Saint-Barthélemy, Bureau municipal, 1980 rue Bonin, Saint-Barthélemy (Québec) J0K 1X0. Tenders will be opened on site at the time indicated above.
Bids in sealed envelopes must be identified as follows: "SUBMISSION - CONTRACT FOR SERVICES FOR THE REMOVAL AND WINTER MAINTENANCE OF THE ROAD NETWORK FOR SECTORS 1, 2 AND 3" and addressed to the Municipality of Saint-Barthélemy, 1980 rue Bonin, Saint-Barthélemy (Québec) J0K 1X0.
Tenderers must obtain tender documents from the SEAO website. Fees are set according to the rates established by SEAO. Any questions or requests for clarification must be sent by e-mail only to dg@st-barthelemy.ca, before September 19, 2024.
Please note that, in particular, a bid bond of 10% of the submitted price, excluding taxes, must accompany the bid. A performance bond of 50% of the bid price, excluding taxes, is also required once the contract has been awarded.
