Description

DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – Project No. HX508972_82860 – Snow Removal and Ice Control, Various Locations CFB Halifax, NS

The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision, and equipment necessary for snow removal and ice control of various areas at CFB Halifax including Naval Annex Dockyard (NAD), Halifax Armoury, Major Robert Campbell Risley Armoury, Royal Artillery Park, Shearwater PMQs, Stadacona, Defence Research Development Canada (DRDC), and Hartlen Point.

NOTE: There is no site visit scheduled for this opportunity.

The estimated value for the initial term of this opportunity is in the order of $932,903.96, with the option to extend for two additional six-month periods at an estimated value of $932,903.96 per period. There is the potential to incorporate a planned change order, valued at $227,067.50, for each of the six-month periods for a total estimated value of $ 3,479,914.38.

This contract will be in place from November 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025. We understand that if mutually agreed between the Contractor and DCC, this Contract may be extended for one (1) additional six-month period from November 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026 and then one (1) additional six-month period from November 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027, under the same terms and conditions.

This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the requirements set out in the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), Chapter Nineteen of the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) and the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-GPA).

The selected contractor will be required to hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Contract Security Program (CSP) within Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC).  Details concerning the Security Requirements for this project are identified in Amendment No.1 to the tender documents.
