3. Brief description of services required :

The Centre de services scolaires de Laval owns more than 115 facilities on the island of Laval. To ensure the proper upkeep of our facilities, we are looking for a company that can provide the expertise, manpower, tools and equipment needed to carry out snow removal, abrasive spreading (also known as de-icing), sidewalk and parking lot maintenance services. The ORGANISME PUBLIC establishments covered by this call for tenders are part of the same lot.

Contract start date: Following contract award

Contract end date: April 30, 2026

3.1. Brief description of options

Renewal option: one (1) one-year renewal option.

The contract is for a firm two-year term of 2024-2025 and 2025-2026, with the option of one (1) year extension. The extension year is at the discretion of the PUBLIC ORGANIZATION and must be on the same terms and conditions as the final year, i.e. 2025-2026. The period of activity is from October 15 to April 30 of each year.

Option for additional services :

A renewal option or an option to provide additional services of the same nature as those initially required, offered at the same price and designed to meet the needs covered by this contract.

4. Tender guarantee (nature and amount): 10% of the total amount of the tender, excluding all applicable taxes, in the form of a bond issued by a Financial Institution.

Performance bond: Performance bond of 10% of the Contract amount in the form of a surety bond issued by a Financial Institution.

5. Applicable agreements :

- ACCQO: Trade and Cooperation Agreement between Quebec and Ontario.

- FTA: Canadian Free Trade Agreement.

- CETA: Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement between Canada and the European Union.

6. Summary description of required insurance :

- Certificate of general liability insurance in a minimum amount of $2 million;

- Certificate of motor vehicle liability insurance in a minimum amount of $2 million.

8. Receipt of bids :

All bids must be received at the address of the Public Agency, for a public opening at the same location on the same day and at the same time. Any bid received after this time will be automatically rejected.

Bids may be submitted electronically and only via the SEAO.

Deadline for receipt of bids: September 23, 2024 before 9:00:00 a.m.

Public opening of bids: immediately after the deadline for receipt of bids.

9. The Public Body does not undertake to accept any of the tenders received, and does so without obligation of any kind to the tenderers.
