Nature and scope of the service:
The construction work comprises the refurbishment and modernization of the entire roof area of the 9-storey central building of the Chancellery (administration building) during ongoing operations. The existing recooling units on the roof will be replaced and temporarily operated on the floor next to the Federal Chancellery.
In the course of replacing the existing cooling towers with 4 pcs. new units, the connecting piping systems will also be renewed. These pipes are to be fitted with pipe trace heating, and the existing ventilation pipes must also be extended with an extension element. Existing gutters must also be fitted with trace heating.
- 7 control units for trace heating, 1 - 3 circuits
- approx. 1,000 meters of trace heating
- 10 extension elements, each one meter long, for the ventilation ducts including thermal insulation
