Service for the AQB measure: Modular language support offer to promote professional integration - "Step by Step" (M3-03); depending on their residence status, refugees do not have access to language support offers or labor market support measures. However, refugees with prospects of remaining in Germany should be supported as soon as possible in order to improve their chances of being integrated into work or training. Even after recognition, refugees often do not yet have the prerequisites to be able to participate in the regular support programs according to SGB II or SGB III; in order to close this gap, the state of Hesse provides funds for language support and qualification for refugees as part of the training and qualification budget. In recent years, various course formats for different target groups have been successfully tested in the Wetterau district. The "step by step" measure builds on this experience.
