Description

Jeddah Metro Company is building the Obhur bridge which:

- will connect the 2 north and south banks of Obhur creek in north Jeddah
- is a 2km long (360m creek crossing) and 74mm wide suspension bridge with maximum clearance of 51m
- will have 8 lanes for cars (4 in each direction) and will contain Jeddah metro Orange line

The scope of the project includes the:

- bridge and lanes
- park and ride facilities at stations / stops and line sections
- civil structures
- viaducts
- architectural works
- heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP)
- interconnecting walkways with metro permanent way
- embedded rail and track, switches/crossings
- associated facilities
