Sale of the property as a share deal to realize a commercial use of the former military training camp StegskopfLocated in the municipal area of the local community of Emmerzhausen, Rhineland-Palatinate, the Stegskopf area has been home to military facilities since the beginning of the 20th century, most recently the former military training area Daaden (Stegskopf), which was taken over by the Bundeswehr in 1958 and was located south of Derschen and Emmerzhausen; the mountain is located on its northern edge. The Stegskopf camp was abandoned by the Bundeswehr as part of its realignment and the entire site was handed over to the Bundesanstalt für Immobilienaufgaben (BIMA) on July 1, 2014 when its military use came to an end. The latter is selling the site. Gemeindeentwicklungsgesellschaft Emmerzhausen mbH, whose shares are held in their entirety by the local municipality of Emmerzhausen, has exercised a priority acquisition option in its favor, the so-called first access option, relating to an area of approx. 601,923 m² (hereinafter referred to as the site area), with the aim of exercising the first access option to develop the property as commercial or industrial space.To this end, the local municipality of Emmerzhausen intends to sell an 88% share in Gemeindeentwicklungsgesellschaft Emmerzhausen mbH, which it holds, in conjunction with the notarization of a land purchase agreement between Gemeindeentwicklungsgesellschaft Emmerzhausen mbH and BIMA,-connected with an amendment to the notarization of the articles of association of Gemeindeentwicklungsgesellschaft Emmerzhausen mbH,-connected with a cooperation agreement to regulate the rights and obligations of the local community of Emmerzhausen, Gemeindeentwicklungsgesellschaft Emmerzhausen mbH and the purchaser, with the aim of acquiring the land and developing it as an industrial estate.For further details, please refer to the published project description.
