Description

Donegal County Council is seeking to engage with a suitable Engineering Consultant to provide design proposals (and any associated works) to help alleviate flooding issues being experienced due to the outfall from Durnesh Lough becoming blocked. It is desirable that Durnesh Lough be maintained at a constant water level and to maintain drainage of the Rossnowlagh area. The successful consultant will be required to provide a strategic review of stormwater drainage (both existing open channel networks and closed drainage systems) within the County Donegal Development Plan 2018-2024 (as varied) boundary for Rossnowlagh, a designated layer 3 settlement in said Plan and the Durnesh Lough flood plain area. The Consultants shall carry out all design work and submit the preferred solution for planning as per the design brief.
