Description

The County is seeking proposals for a Servicing Feasibility Study and Servicing Strategy to support the County’s Greater Bragg Creek Area Structure Plan Hamlet Amendments project.
The scope of the Area Structure Plan Amendment project is primarily with respect to the Bragg Creek Hamlet Growth Area as defined by the Calgary Metropolitan Region Growth Plan (although other amendments within the Greater Bragg Creek Area Structure Plan may be considered where necessary). The objectives of the ASP Amendment project are summarised as follows:
• To create a land use strategy for the Bragg Creek Hamlet Growth area (Hamlet Core plus Hamlet Expansion lands).
• To identify, protect, and enhance natural and environmental features and systems.
• To identify opportunities for economic development and facilitate growth, while preserving desirable aspects of the existing community.
• To determine water, wastewater, stormwater, and transportation servicing needs and strategies.
• To identify opportunities for recreation facilities, infrastructure, and programming.
• To create an ASP that is driven by public input and prioritizes the strength of the community.
