Rhein-Neckar-Verkehr GmbH (rnv) operates the light rail, streetcar and bus lines in Mannheim, Heidelberg and Ludwighafen. With around 2000 kilometers of track, rnv has the longest continuous meter-gauge network in Germany.
The shareholders of rnv are the cities of Mannheim, Ludwigshafen and Heidelberg. With more than 2,000 employees, 186 streetcars and light rail vehicles and 182 buses, rnv ensures sustainable and environmentally friendly mobility in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region.
The rnv is headquartered in Mannheim. However, it is present throughout the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region with depots, customer centers and sales outlets. The company has large depots in Mannheim, Ludwigshafen and Heidelberg. There are smaller rnv branches in Mannheim-Käfertal, Edingen and Bad Dürkheim.
