Rhein - Neckar - Verkehr GmbH requires a supplier for the 85 rectifier substations in the rnv network who can replace the batteries within a substation within a maximum of 72 hours if required. As the delivery times for the batteries are between 2 and 3 months, the supplier must have certain types of batteries in stock, with guaranteed acceptance by rnv. An overview of the battery types and rectifier substations can be found in chapters 6 and 7 Scope of services.

In addition, all batteries in the rectifier substations must be replaced at regular intervals. This replacement takes place on the basis of a schedule.

This tender includes delivery of the batteries, dismantling and disposal of the old batteries, installation of the new batteries, commissioning of the battery systems, testing and adjustment of the switchgear.
