Description

The Town of Orangeville (the “Town”) is seeking Bids from experienced contractors for the removal and replacement of filtration media from the pressure filters at the following facilities:Well No. 2A Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and Control Building;Well No. 8A / 8B / WTP and Control Building;Well No. 9A / 9B WTP and Control Building;Well No. 10 WTP and Control Building; andWell No. 12 WTP and Control Building.The work also includes the replacement of the existing raw water potassium permanganate chemical feed system with a sodium hypochlorite (chlorine) chemical feed system, relocation of one (1) chlorine analyzer, supply and installation of two (2) chlorine analyzers, and supply and installation of three (3) baffles in the clearwell at the Well No. 10 WTP and Control Building.The Contract is based on the Ontario Provincial Standards (OPS) OPS.MUNI 100 as detailed in Part 2 of this RFT document.
