Description

The City is seeking qualified Contractors to perform Demolition, Abatement and Site Restoration Services within the City of Niagara Falls at various locations which include City owned properties, as well as eligible residential, commercial, and industrial properties. The intent of this RFSQ is to create a roster of qualified, licensed contractors to perform partial as well as complete demolition of structures, in addition to abatement, site remediation and restoration on an as required/on demand and emergency basis.This pre-qualification applies to various projects, capital projects as well as emergency demolition due to unsafe dwellings.• The following is a sample listing of the various types of services, which will be required during this contract:Mobilization,• Erection of safety controls, barriers, site fencing and safety signage,• Abatement and disposal (mould, asbestos and other applicable hazardous materials),• Drain water by use of a hydrovac truck,• Excavation of rubble from active fire of dwelling,• Selective demolition of building interiors, exteriors and siteworks,• Complete demolition and disposal of buildings in entirety,• Backfill, site restoration, site remediation as well as site clearing,• Clean up and disposal services,• Demobilization and restoration of siteworks.This is not an all-inclusive list. Other services may be required.
