EP745-230361/A - Translation Bureau’s Directory of Suppliers for Translation Services of Sensitive Nature

The Translation Bureau is a special operating agency (SOA) reporting to the Department of Public Works and Government Services Canada. The Translation Bureau is responsible for supporting the Government of Canada in its efforts to provide services to and inform Canadians in the official language of their choice. The Translation Bureau fulfills its mission by providing translation services and products to Parliament, the judiciary, federal departments and agencies, and international organizations.

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), on behalf of the Translation Bureau is launching a Request for Supply Arrangements (RFSA) to establish a directory of suppliers and enter into supply arrangements (SAs) with qualified suppliers to meet its needs of official languages translation of sensitive nature.

Suppliers may qualify in one or more Tier(s), in the language combination and fields of work (there are sixty-two (62) fields) of their choice:

• Tier 1: Requirements where the daily translation capacity is greater than or equal to 1,000 words and less than 2,999 words
• Tier 2: Requirements where the daily translation capacity is greater than or equal to 3,000 words and less than 7,999 words
• Tier 3: Requirements where the daily translation capacity is greater than or equal to 8,000 words

The Identified User for this requirement is the Translation Bureau.

There is no security requirement associated with this requirement.

On-going Opportunity for Qualification

A permanent notice will be posted on the Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS) to allow interested suppliers to qualify for Supply Arrangement EP745-230361. Canada will conduct quarterly evaluations of arrangements as outlined in Article 6.7, RFSA Submission and Quarterly Evaluation Periods of the RFSA.

NOTE: Exceptionally, the first submission period will end at 2:00 p.m. EDT on July 11, 2022.

Individual Request for Proposals (RFP):

Request for Proposals (RFPs) will be sent to suppliers on the SA Holder list by email in accordance with the Bid Solicitation Process and Tendering Periods stipulated in the SA. Subsequent contracts will be awarded according to the evaluation procedures and selection methodology identified in the individual Requests for Proposals.
