Description

FinDev Canada is seeking consulting services to provide policy strategy and implementation support for FinDev Canada’s overall approach to G7 DFI engagement during Canada’s G7 presidency in 2025.

Building on the achievements made during the 2024 G7 (i.e. Expert Working Group of the Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment), the policy strategy will be informed by three priority thematic challenges: sustainable food systems, sustainable infrastructure and energy transition in the context of the work of DFIs.

Policy mapping for the 2025 G7 DFI track will focus on the three above-mentioned thematic challenges and include the transversal issues of gender and climate and nature action and private capital mobilization. Policy analysis will focus on the role and efforts of DFIs and identify market gaps and opportunities for increased coherence, alignment, and collaboration among the DFIs and relevant international stakeholders (i.e. public development banks, multilateral development banks, investors, industry associations, policy think tanks).

Policy analysis will inform an overall policy strategy that will be implemented during 2025 and which will include activities and deliverables, such as the design and delivery of virtual policy workshops or seminars, the drafting of non-papers, and the collation of input from across DFIs.
Bidding and Documents are available on http://www.merx.com. Fees may apply; See https://www.merx.com/public/pricing for more information.
