Description
The City of Burlington is a municipality located on the outer edges of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) on the shores of Lake Ontario with a population of 205,960 residents. It is one of four lower-tier municipalities within the Regional Municipality of Halton.Scope of WorkThe City of Burlington, herein referred to as the City, is seeking to enter into a contract with a federally licensed/certified provider of commercial drones to design, deliver, and execute a professional drone Show at the City of Burlington’s Canada Day celebrations on July 1st at Spencer Smith Park, Burlington, ON. The drone Show is expected to be safe and creative in nature, featuring various display elements.Full payment will be made upon successful completion of the show via electronic funds transfer the day after the Show, unless the Show is cancelled. In the event the Show has to be cancelled, there will be an alternate date of July 2nd, or at an agreed upon date. Should it be cancelled, the City may opt to extend a renewal year into the next year.The drone show will operate in accordance with the Canadian Aviation Regulations, Transport Canada and Aeronautics Act as well as and any other Federal, Provincial or Municipal regulations. If the city decides to host a drone Show at a different city-sanctioned event, the city reserves the right to work with the successful Bidder to make arrangements for that event under the same terms and conditions in the Agreement, save and except for the date of the Show.
