Description

Kneehill County (the “County”) is seeking proposals from interested parties for thefollowing (“the Work”):1. Conceptual drawings for an onsite facility at Horseshoe Canyon that wouldcontain washrooms along with other potential amenities such as but notlimited to an information/interpretive center for visitors, a market/café spacefor local businesses and agriculture to promote their products and food, andpotential expansion for a multi-purpose event space or otherretail/commercial services to support the area.  Drawings should include aphased approach with a minimum of 3 reasonable options at various pricepoints to allow for growth over time and future development.2. Feasibility study to include evaluations of financial considerations, including:• Capital cost projections, operational expenses (5 – 10 year projections) • Potential funding sources such as, but not limited to, public and privatepartnerships and leasing and marketing spaces to be used for investmentattraction purposes.  3. Include a detailed list of requirements for the development of an AreaStructure Plan to be used by Kneehill County for the Horseshoe Canyon. Thislist should entail the minimum and maximum requirements to attractinvestment. Kneehill County would utilize this list to create a futureRequest for Proposal for the potential creation of an Area Structure Plan.
