Description
Project SummarySo that the City is well positioned to respond to this anticipated urban growth and demographic change, this Request for Proposal seeks the services of a qualified multi-disciplinary team with expertise in engineering, water treatment, water distribution, environmental science and community engagement to prepare a Master Plan report that guides the City through water system upgrades for a 20-year design horizon.The successful Firm will be tasked with reviewing the existing and future water treatment and distribution infrastructure, historical and future community development trends/projections, constraints and opportunities to prepare a Water System Master Plan to inform long-term infrastructure planning. The awarded proponent may be approached within 5 or 10 years of the completion of the Final Report for additional work to update the Master Plan.The project is expected to be awarded in November 2024, and the Final Water System Master Plan shall be submitted no later than November 30, 2026.
