Description

EfficiencyOne is an independent, non-profit organization, that operates/administers the “Efficiency Nova Scotia” franchise.  We transform the way people use energy, by offering Nova Scotians programs and services that fulfill our mission to help people achieve their energy goals, save money, conserve resources, improve wellbeing, and combat climate change.   EfficiencyOne is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to source a highly skilled and qualified Service Provider to deliver the Efficiency Nova Scotia Commercial Direct Installation (CDI) program throughout the province of Nova Scotia. The Service Provider will manage and deliver all aspects of the CDI program to eligible participants and achieve annual program targets as further described in this RFP. The Commercial Direct Installation (CDI) service is a natural progression of Efficiency Nova Scotia’s prior Commercial Direct Install. Although there have been minor adjustments to the list of products and their specifications, the core objective remains consistent—providing Nova Scotians with a commercial service that replaces inefficient products at no cost.  The service will shift focus to electrician-installed products to better align with strategic growth initiatives. Smart thermostats for electric baseboards, central heating systems and mini-split heat pumps, electrician installed lighting fixtures and Domestic Hot Water (DHW) have been added to the list of products being offered
