Description

The City of Burnaby (“City”) wishes to engage a qualified consulting team (the “Consultant”) withthe appropriate experience, expertise, qualified personnel to provide design and consultingservices (the ‘Services’) to review building requirements, develop scope of work and providespecifications for conversion of the existing HVAC systems to heat pumps for the Charles Rummel& Wesburn Community Centers. The Consultant team shall be led by a Prime MechanicalConsultant. Additional consultants shall be included upon recommendation by the PrimeConsultant. The issue of these documents does not confer any license or grant for any otherpurpose. Pre-Qualification Following Request for Qualification #10-01/21 Pre-qualification of Consultants for Building Maintenance Services (FM), only the following pre-qualified Proponents will be invited for this RFP: 1) Associated Engineering (B.C.) Ltd.2) Flow Consulting Inc.3) Introba Canada LLP (Former Integral Group Consulting (BC) LLP)4) Smith + Andersen (Vancouver)5) Stantec Consulting Ltd.6) The AME Consulting Group Ltd.7) TWD Technologies Ltd.8) WSP Canada Inc.; An optional site visit for this RFP will be held on September 10, 2024 commencing at 2:30 PM. Proponents are requested to meet at Wesburn Community Centre entrance located at 4781 Parkwood Ave. Burnaby, BC. ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS ONLY, shall be received by the on-line bidding system. Hardcopy submissions not permitted. Proponents are cautioned that the timing of their submission is based on when the Proposal is RECEIVED by the on-line bidding system, not when a Proposal is submitted, as transmission can be delayed due to file transfer size, transmission speed, etc.  For the above reasons, it is recommended that sufficient time is given to complete your submission and to resolve any issues that may arise. The closing time and date shall be determined by the on-line bidding system’s web clock. Late submissions are not permitted by the on-line bidding system. Proposals will not be opened in public.
