Description

Provincial Public Safety Telecommunications Network (PPSTN) is an interoperable public safety radio network managed through a partnership between the SPSA, SaskPower and the RCMP for Emergency Responders to communicate with their respective dispatch centers and mutual partners. Maintaining sufficient frontline responder radio use competence is an important element of ensuring responder safety and effective response to emergencies for agencies utilizing the network. Proponents are required to provide training to SPSA’s emergency responders across Saskatchewan to ensure proper use of PPSTN Radio equipment.
