Description
1. PURPOSE OF THE CONTRACT
1.1 The OMHM is proceeding with a public call for tenders to replace the fire alarm panel and add alarms at the Maywood residence, 33 Maywood Avenue, Pointe-Claire, H9R 6B9, Pointe Claire borough.
1.2 The project consists of performing all work in accordance with the contract documents. Without limitation, the scope of work includes:
- Replacement of the main fire alarm panel,
- Migration of existing components to new panel with programming,
- Addition of stand-alone alarms in each bedroom of the units,
1.3 The work will be carried out in a 7-storey building with a total of 135 units for the elderly.
1.4 During the works, the apartments will be occupied.
2. DURATION OF WORK
2.1 According to current planning, work is scheduled to start as soon as the letter of commitment is signed, but this date may be modified by OMHM. In such a case, the modification cannot be used to justify a request for extra on the part of the successful bidder.
The work must be carried out within a maximum of 120 working days from the date confirmed for the start of work in the letter of commitment.
