Rental and maintenance of 2 trucks, one side-loading and one front-loading, without operator

The Régie intermunicipale de gestion des matières résiduelles du Kamouraska (the Régie) is seeking tenders for the supply of goods and services consisting mainly of the following:
Lot 1 - Rental and maintenance of a side-loading dump truck, without operator;
Lot 2 - Rental and maintenance of a front-loading dump truck, without operator;

In addition, the Régie is also requesting bids for :
Lot 3 - The sale of the side-loading truck to the Régie, should the latter exercise the purchase option in its favor;
Lot 4 - The sale to the Régie, if it exercises the purchase option in its favor, of the front-loading truck.

Bids may be submitted for all lots, for any or all lots, or for any or all lots.

Tender documents are available via the Electronic Tendering System (SEAO) www.seao.ca

To be considered official, all bids must be :
- Presented on the official bid form;
- Accompanied by a bid security issued in the name of the Régie, in the form of a certified cheque or a bid bond, in an amount equivalent to 10% of the amount of the bid including taxes for lots 1 and 2, and in an amount equivalent to 5% of the amount of the bid including taxes for lots 3 and 4;
- Submitted by a person, partnership or company having its principal place of business in Quebec or, where an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, in a province or territory covered by that agreement;
- Conforms to the specifications mentioned in the tender documents;
- Delivered before 11 a.m. (local time) on September 26, 2024, at 11A, côte de l'Église, Saint-Philippe-de-Néri (Québec) G0L 4A0, to the attention of Ms. Danielle Caron, who is responsible for the call for tenders. It is the bidder's responsibility to verify the opening hours of the Saint-Philippe-de-Néri municipal office.

Tenders must be submitted in a sealed envelope, marked "Tender - Rental with maintenance of 2 trucks, one side-loading and the other front-loading, without operator" and delivered by hand or by courier. Bids sent by e-mail or fax will not be accepted. It is the bidder's responsibility to check with the person in charge of the call for tenders that the envelope containing the bid has been received within the allotted time.

All bids received within the above-mentioned deadline will be opened on the same day, at the same location, immediately after the deadline for submission of bids.

The Régie reserves the right to accept the lowest bid per lot, which may result in the awarding of a contract to a supplier for one lot and the awarding of a contract to other suppliers for the other lots, without the bidder being able to withdraw its bid or revise upwards the prices submitted.

The Régie does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the bids received. Furthermore, the Régie will not be liable for any proceedings or claims for costs or losses incurred by bidders as a result of such decisions.
