SPECIAL COMPLIANCE CONDITIONS :

ü Must hold a license issued by the Régie du Bâtiment (RBQ) as a general contractor, with the appropriate category or categories, and this license must not contain any restrictions for the purposes of obtaining a public contract;

Request for equivalence :

Tender guarantee :

The bid must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to TEN PER CENT (10%) of the contract value.

Letter of commitment :

A letter of commitment for the performance guarantee and a guarantee for pledges, materials and labor must be enclosed with the bid.

The bid must be accompanied by a performance bond equivalent to FIFTY PER CENT (50%) of the contract value.

Warranties for guarantees, materials and labor :

The bid must be accompanied by a guarantee for wages, materials and labor equivalent to FIFTY PER CENT (50%) of the contract value.

A contractor holding a restricted license issued by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec or registered in the register of companies ineligible for public contracts (RENA) and whose period of ineligibility for public contracts has not ended, is not eligible to submit a bid; these two cases of ineligibility also apply to the bidder's subcontractors.

Bidders are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both in terms of their solvency and the content of their bids, and must inform them of the conditions they intend to impose on them, and ensure that they hold the required permits and licenses.
